Reminder - Non-uniform Day Thursday 8th February 2024
Dear families,
Our students have come together and requested a non-uniform day to raise money for Unicef who are helping children around the world who are suffering in a humanitarian crisis. The charity provides food, emergency relief, water, medication, support with hygiene and education to children that are suffering in areas of conflict or deprivation.
Our non-uniform day will be on Thursday 8th February, and we ask that students donate £1 to the appeal, which will be collected on the day in form time.
There are some rules around the dress code for the day which we expect all students to adhere to and ask parents and carers to support this.
- No sliders/crocs/heels/open toes shoes for health and safety reasons (trainers are allowed as well as closed toe shoes/boots).
- Lanyards must be worn and school bags, PE kit or any other equipment needed for the day are still essential.
- No hotpants, miniskirts, or crop tops
Please remember to consider that it is a school environment and students should be dressed in a way which is appropriate. If students dress in clothing which is inappropriate, we will have to call parents and send them home. It also means that we may not be able to run events like this in the future.
Thank you for your support with this.
