Our Vision
Our Vision describes the big picture of what we want to achieve – our ultimate goal that motivates us.
Here at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls, we strive to achieve excellence in all that we do. Our vision of “Success for Everyone” is one that applies to the whole school community. Our belief is that learning is infinite and having an open mind to learning new things is important to both academic progress and personal development, no matter what age or stage on your educational journey.
People, and the relationships we have with them, are our greatest resource and asset and are at the heart of the school’s success. We believe that an understanding of our girls and the world we live in helps us to provide the time and space to ensure they develop personally, socially, and emotionally.
We want our students to be kind, empathetic and confident members of a diverse society, that will allow them to become successful women, whose voices are heard and respected so that they will become influential, successful, and happy members of society.
Our Values

This means that our school, teams, and individuals are always pulled together in ways which share the workload and create solutions from which everyone benefits. We are determined that nothing can divide us when we put the needs of our community before everything else.

Resilience – We are committed to growing as individuals and as a school community. We recognise that growth and improvement is not without its challenges and struggles; therefore, we focus on balancing challenge and ambition with support and nurture, showing understanding for human capacity and the limits of resilience on our journey to becoming the best versions of ourselves.
Leadership – We want to provide our pupils with the skills to successfully navigate their world through difficult situations and to lead in all areas of their lives.
