On Thursday 7^th September we welcomed Calvin Bailey MBE, Officer Commanding, 70 Squadron RAF into school to speak to our Year 11 cohort. Calvin spoke about his life and journey from being born in Zambia and growing up in Plumstead to learning to fly a plane and to the evacuation of civilians from Afghanistan in 2021. Calvin discussed the importance to our students of having dreams and planning for the future, making sure that students research and find out about the opportunities and careers that are available them.

We really appreciate Calvin coming into our school delivering such an informative and inspirational presentation, our Year 11 students had lots of questions!
