Dear parents/carers,

You will be aware that NEU teachers will be striking on Wednesday 5^th July as well as on Friday 7^th July 2023.

Due to significantly reduced staffing, we will be running the following limited programme for invited students only.

Wednesday 5^th July 2023: 

• Year 10 students will be doing their Work Experience and staff will go and visit students.
• We will invite Year 7, 8 and 9 students to our hub for the day.  The school day will start at 9.00am for those students invited in, finishing by 1.50pm
• We will also invite a small group of students that will go on a trip. Separate letters will be sent out to parents regarding this.
• The rest of the students will be staying at home.
• Free school meal vouchers will be sent to our free school meal students.

Friday 7^th July 2023:

• Year 10 students will be doing their Work Experience and staff will go and visit students.
• All of Year 8 students will be taking part in the Nuclear Races' trip. Separate letters will be sent out to provide further detail.
• We will invite Year 7 and 9 students to our hub for the day.  The school day will start at 9.00am for those students invited in, finishing by 2:30pm
• The rest of the students will be staying at home.
• Free school meal vouchers will be sent to our free school meal students.
